4 of Summer

Reading for the week of February 3, 2019

From Fairy Tarot Cards by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine

4 of Summer (in traditional deck, it would be 4 of Cups)

Key statements:  Being distracted and failing to see a magical opportunity.  Taking someone or something for granted.  Discontentment with life.

Daily life can be full of hectic activities.  You could grow distracted and not notice opportunities that are being offered to you.  You may become so focused on what you don’t have that you may completely discount the gifts that you have been given.

We forget, that the very God who created this entire universe, who holds the stars in place, and knows the exact number of hairs on our head, also knows our way. That His favor rests on us as we seek after Him first, and He holds the power to cause things to happen in just a moment, that would otherwise take us years to do. He can line up our pathways to cross with others He wants us to meet. He can open doors that leave us surprised at how they open. He can close doors that He knows are not the best for us. He has a plan, in the good, and in every hard thing we face.

It’s very important to spend time in prayer and meditation — either in our prayer closest or in nature – we need to take time to quiet your mind and head.  When doing so, you can ask God for messages about what opportunities are around you that you may not been seeing.  Heaven is always offering you magical presents, but you must be open to experiencing these gifts!  “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.”  Ephesians 1:3

Now, take the time to quieten your mind through prayer or meditation, observe what is going on around you and experience what God’s blessing has in stored for you.  The blessings are at your fingertips, you just need to take hold of that!
